Orphans are a quiet crisis in our nation that many people do not know it exists or do not pay enough attention to. There are approximately 2.2 billion children living today throughout the world, in foster care system. Many foundations out there are working hard to bring awareness and provide a family, cultural and educational environment to orphans as means of their empowerment and increase of self-esteem.
We at Pertubuhan Kebajikan Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Malaysia are in the footsteps of huge Non-Profitable Organizations as such. We believe our unpretentious and folksy ways has found its cause in offering the muchawaited help amongst the needy.
This literature content is an attempt in focus on inclusive approach relating to orphans and further, exploration of means of care and support of orphans. Centrally, this organization aims to focus on the education of orphans and help them overcome their learning barriers after identifying their (barriers) root causes.
We proudly admit that the organization had grown leaps and bounds from where it began, in regard to number of children. Though our hardest hurdle is the sustainability of the home due to the rising expenses in these times. Thus, our attempts to reach out and get help and hope to the Almighty that our voices are heard.
In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who worked alongside us including our ashram helpers, volunteers, and devotees, to make this home possible. We very much hope that this effort will be one of many to come and hope to someday soon realize a world in which every child is safe, happy, loved and cared for.
